Hair colour — the tone you actually pictured
A colour that did not come out the way you pictured means never quite feeling right in the mirror. Usually the problem is not the shade you chose but that the hair underneath was not light enough to carry it. So we tell you upfront how many rounds of bleach it takes, and what the final price will be.

Some very light tones need several rounds of bleach that not all hair can survive. When that is the case we suggest a nearby tone that looks better on hair in its actual condition, rather than forcing it.
What happens
From the moment you sit down
The most important stage is the first one: telling you honestly whether your hair can reach that tone, and what it costs to try.
- Look at your current colour and your skin tone. The same tone reads differently on different skin, and old colour still sitting in the hair pulls a new tone off course.
- Tell you the number of bleach rounds and the final price. Bleaching is charged per round. If the tone you want needs two, we say so before starting — not halfway through.
- Bleach, only where it is needed. Sectioned and timed. Finer areas lift faster and have to be checked as it develops, not left on a timer.
- Apply the colour. The agreed tone, left for as long as that colour needs.
- Rinse and seal. Hair that has just been through chemistry needs the cuticle closed before you leave, or the colour fades unusually fast.

How to make it last
How fast colour fades comes down to how you wash it, not to the brand of colour.
- Wash in cool or barely warm water. Hot water opens the cuticle and takes pigment with it every single wash.
- Use shampoo made for coloured hair. Ordinary shampoo cleans harder and strips the colour much faster.
- Do not wash it for 48 hours. While the pigment is still settling is when it comes out most easily.
- Avoid strong sun and pool water. Chlorine and UV turn cool tones brassy noticeably fast.
- Condition between appointments. Bleached hair needs more care than untreated hair. See our deep conditioning page.

What people ask before deciding
Why do you need to bleach? Can't you just colour over it?
Colour can make hair darker but not lighter. If the tone you want is lighter than your hair now, the existing colour has to be lifted out first. We look at your hair and tell you whether your case needs it.
How many rounds of bleach will it take?
It depends on your current colour and the tone you want. We tell you the number of rounds and the final price before starting. Bleaching is ฿1,500 per round.
How is colour priced by length?

What is the difference between highlights and balayage?
Highlights are lightened strands woven through the whole head. Balayage graduates the lightness toward the ends with no hard line, so grown-out roots show far less quickly than they do with highlights.
Is colour work guaranteed?
Our 7-day guarantee covers straightening and perms only, not colour, because how fast colour fades depends mainly on aftercare. That said, if the result is not what we agreed, always tell us.
Can you cover grey?
Yes. We can colour over it, or use grey-blending highlights, which are included in the ฿2,990 colour and highlights package. The second option looks more dimensional and shows regrowth more slowly.
How long does it take?
About 2–4 hours depending on whether bleaching is needed and how many rounds. We give you an estimate before starting.
